[At Right]: I am trying to combine my two shows in this picture- This is DMT costume and production week and I am holding the fake blood that we use in DMT, but it could work for Dracula too... ;)

I am remembering to sleep and eat, as busy as I am ;) But here we are- it's October!! Dracula is going up in 8 days! We're almost there... I got my fangs yesterday, so I'm pretty much set as far as that goes :) DMT went well last week- we had fun and great responses from the audiences. And it's only the beginning! I am also getting back into my old role in the technical theatre department as a lighting technition so that's keeping me busy too. I've gotta run and keep being productive, but there's a little update for ya!

[At Right]: In my spare time I learned how to make a turtle out of a balloon (although he's not pictured here) and Kory's specialty is poodles... :)

Back to Life off the Ranch

Yes, yes I am back at school- above you will see that life is pretty much back to normal :) Those are my DMT girls- minus Alicia and KT- at our first girl's night.

Basically I had an amazing and busy summer at Lost Valley and now I am jumping right back into an amazing, but busy semester. I am currently in 2 plays and just auditioned for 2 more for next semester. I am also working as a tech intern at the theatre and going to school...and sleeping and learning how to cook for myself and my beautiful roommate. We are having a blast in our little apartment- even though we spend most of our time in the Theatre.

I am really looking forward to what else God has in store for me this year- even just what He has planned for my day tomorrow and next week! His faithfulness and grace that are both new every morning have been so evident to me this summer and in every new day as the sun comes up and shines so brightly. 1 Peter 3:3-4 was a key verse from one of my Bible studies this summer and I am still striving to find that "gentle spirit" and to love others as Christ loves me.

I hope to be able to keep this updated better and keep up with emails to anyone interested in my little life out here :) God Bless!

To Be or not to be...

Yes, it's a bit cliche, but now you know I'm talking about Hamlet. I just finished the run of "Joseph" - which was absolutely fun and exhausting! :)

So, now I am rehearsing for "The 15-Minute Hamlet" Which is a comedic version of all of Shakespeare's Hamlet in 15 minutes. I am Ophelia and it's just a light-hearted, fun show that I'll be performing starting on Wednesday, April 19 and it will only run for that week.

Now I'm going to take a nap to rest up before my last month as a college freshman!

I do love the beach! :) So, yes, I'm back here- hanging out with friends on the beach (that's Tommy and I to the right) Doing some school stuff... and rehearsing for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The Chronicles of Narnia

I went to the midnight premier of Narnia last night and it was incredible! If you are even considering going to this movie, GO! :) It is beautifully and artistically done- music, costumes, scenery, story, acting, everything!

*Ok, well, you have to read this post from the bottom up and it will make more sense...Some day I'll get the order right... :)*

All these beautiful people were at the Thanksgiving dinner on Friday- That's Jen's husband, Josh (Far Left), then Jen, then Stevo, and me! :) The dinner was very good and we played card games and went to see a movie and it was just great!

I apparently befriended another pirate...We ate dinner at Johnny Rockets and just walked around... That pic of us (To the far Left) is in the hallway leading up to the Kodak Theatre. It was all very festive and decorated and sparkily and there was Christmas music...great atmosphere!
{Friday was our Thanksgiving at Josh's grandparent's house, 5 mintues away from me. Then Saturday we went to Hollywood!! }
~We were quite close by the end of the day...Oh, I do like pirates!~ :)
The weekend began with Disneyland! I befrended a pirate in Downtown Disney, we took a picture in front of the 5oth anniversary flower garden, rode the California Screamin' coaster twice, saw two parades, a fireworks show, and a light show!

The madness is over! After only one month from auditions to production, I had a ton of fun, was challenged, and yes, I just might do it again...in a few years or so... Now I can get back to semi-normal life-oh, wait, it's almost December!!!
Well, at least I have a bit more time to post some more stuff here until I come home for Christmas! Keep checking... :)

This is really the best way to keep everyone updated on my life, I don't really have enough time to write emails these days to everyone. Especially coming up~ I will soon be full-force into Crucible run-throughs and before I know it, it will all be over! I am loving every minute of it! It's a lot of work and a tough character, but I love the challenge.

I have found a church I like- it's called Grace Church of Glendora, it's about 10 minutes away. They have 4 services (I think...) I've only been to the "contemporary" one, but there is a "modern" and two "traditional" services and Sunday nights there is a College group that I have been to once... I'm definitely going this next Sunday- I was out of town last weekend.

I went up to Jen and Josh's house and spent the weekend with Stevo and Jen. Josh had to work, but we did see him for a little bit. So, that was fun. We found seashells on the beach and then ate the BEST sandwich for lunch...then drove for about an hour and a half to the Cohen household. Good times in the car, let me tell ya! :) And the stars are beautiful up there! I had forgotten they even exist here in LA~ there are too many lights out here!

So, the weekend was great. Stevo and I had fun hanging out- keeping busy. Now I'm ready for my last week of relative calm until straight run throughs for the Crucible and then the show! Then Thanksgiving and then the Holiday craziness and then I come home and relax for 3 weeks!

Prayer is always appreciated through the busyness, but don't worry- Stevo is keeping me calm and works hard to help me de-stress. That's why I love him! :)
